Salt Pile, + Ruby or Flawless Ruby or Silver Ruby Ring, + Soul Gem (Any size) Give the scripts and animations time to finish. You should wait after using it until the animations have finished, too soon and nothing may happen. The forge contains a lever, and a box to put the stuff in. Once completed you get the sigil stone, which will get you access to better items from the forge. It's best really to have a conjuration skill of 90 so's you can start the Conjuration Ritual Spell quest you get from Phinis Gestor. This is a quick guide I made for myself really listing all the recipes for the atronach forge located in the Winterhold Midden, to save me some time trying to figure out what the daedric lettering on the notes mean, but if anyone else gets any use out of it then great.
